New Works

I've been dying to shoot for a while. My schedule does not permit this to happen. I've had many ideas and all I need is the space and the opportunity. In the mean time feel free to take a gander at some of my latest works and variations on older pieces. I feel stagnant as an artist, mainly because I've been teaching myself. I desperately crave to be molded by someone who oozes talent. I pray that day comes soon.

Going Back

I attempted (rather successfully) to re-create my first photo shoot "Shades of Ebony". Here are some of the pictures.

Growth

I see myself growing as a photographer. I'm shedding the doubt I once had about my God given talent and now I embrace it. I've spoken with an admission counselor at SCAD and she encouraged me to bring my portfolio to a viewing in October. I really hope that goes well. Here's a sample of some of my latest work.

I've been playing around with Photoshop so I can figure out everything and all that jazz. Here's a photo that shows what I've learned thus far. I played with the lighting a bit.

Erthe

My brother just did an amazing performance at Pie Hole. He inspires me just as all my other brothers do. Brandon, Jovan, Atukwe, D'Angelo, Chris, Deron, Donnie, and of course Stevie. They are all so amazing. So filled with talent and not to mention beautiful spirits. I enjoy being around them and I thank God for bringing them into my life.

Then I have my school brothers. Will and Jamal. Who know me better than I know myself. I can't imagine life without them. I know that it was destiny that brought us together. And it is my wish that we stay that way. Jamal, who is always filled with good advice and Will always ready to listen and just be there for me. I am truly blessed. Truly.
